Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA Manager to lead and elevate our quality assurance practices. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in QA, including at least 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role, and a proven track record of implementing industry-standard QA processes. As the QA Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality solutions across projects and contribute to the overall success of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Development: Define and implement best-in-class QA processes and practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality products. Continuously refine processes to meet evolving project needs and industry standards.
- Strategy Development: Create and execute a comprehensive QA strategy that aligns with organizational goals, project objectives, and client expectations. Ensure the strategy is scalable and adaptable.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor a dynamic QA team, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support for team members' career development.
- Talent Management: Recruit, train, and retain top QA professionals to build and maintain a high-performing QA team. Provide regular feedback and professional development opportunities.
- Compliance & Audits: Ensure that all QA activities adhere to industry standards and internal policies. Lead audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and clients to understand project goals, manage expectations, and align quality objectives with project timelines.
- Metrics & Reporting: Define, track, and report on key quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, test coverage, etc.) to measure success and identify areas for improvement. Use insights from metrics to drive process enhancements and improve overall team performance.
Requirements:
- Experience: 8+ years in Quality Assurance with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Process Expertise: Proven experience in setting up and managing QA processes that ensure consistent, high-quality deliverables.
- Leadership Skills: Strong decision-making ability with a collaborative mindset. Able to lead and motivate cross-functional teams effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in managing stakeholder relationships and delivering clear, concise reports.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a focus on identifying issues, driving solutions, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in QA. Experience in implementing compliance and audit processes is a plus.
