Job Summary

Overview

The Senior Tableau Data Analysts working as a member of iMerits Management Information Systems Team, will support the evolution of iMerits Business Intelligence System.

Responsibilities

Contributing to the definition and development of iMerits overall data analytics and reporting roadmap,

  • Designing, developing, testing and optimizing interactive Tableau dashboards, visualizations and reports
  • Automating the collection and preparation of data from multiple data sources to meet dashboard and reporting requirements
  • Working with business partners to gather requirements,
  • Translating reporting requirements into dashboards, visualizations and reports,
  • Publishing dashboards and reports on Tableau Online
  • Producing and maintaining accurate BI System documentation,
  • Conducting workshops and training sessions with iMerit business users to further their knowledge and use of reporting and visualization tools,
  • Collaborating with various data providers to resolve dashboard, reporting and data related issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in mathematics, computer science, information systems, data science or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data analyst role creating dashboards, visualizations and reports.
  • Experience in usingTableau Desktop / Tableau Prep / Tableau Online/ other ETL tools.
  • Good conceptual understanding and experience with data modelling with complex DB systems
  • A solid understanding of SQL and relational data bases (knowledge of NoSQL databases is a plus)
  • Experience of working with large amount of data, involving tens of millions of rows, is a plus
  • A solid understanding of SQL and relational data bases (knowledge of NoSQL databases is a plus)
  • Experience in creating and publishing interactive Tableau dashboards, visualizations, stories and reports.
  • Good knowledge of Excel functions (knowledge of pivot tables is a plus)
  • Experience in gathering and analyzing user requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Tableau architecture and administration.
