Job Summary
  • Set up cloud infrastructure as per best practices
  • Implement cloud best practices across engagements
  • Ready to work in 24X7 rotational shifts
  • Work with customer to understand requirements and suggest appropriate solutions
  • Perform cloud deployments and monitoring
  • Define CI processes and end-to-end solution tool chain for implementation
  • Should be aware of CI best practices and related tools
  • Create automation scripts for day to day routine activities
  • Work closely with engineering team and support team
  • Contribute to improve the efficiency of the assignment by quality improvements & innovative suggestions
  • Contribute in developing a knowledge base on collaboration with other team members
  • Maintain customer loyalty through Integrity and accountability
  • Fluent in one Scripting languages (Perl, Python, Shell)
  • Good experience on working in UNIX environment
  • Good hands on experience in Cloud technology (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Good knowledge of cloud concepts like networking, security, monitoring, instances
  • Hands on experience in setting up cloud infrastructure, security, monitoring for enterprise applications
  • Have good understanding of automation tools for cloud deployment, configuration management like Terraform, Ansible, cloud formation etc.
  • Good knowledge of Continuous Integration and associated tools like Maven, Jenkins, Sonar etc.
  • Good knowledge of container based technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills are mandatory
  • Experience of working with Java based applications - Java/J2EE, Spring, Web services
  • Understanding of RDBMS Oracle/SQL server/MySQL. Ability to create users/schema/populate data/simple queries for data retrieval
  • Good knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies
  • Should have minimum of 3-5 years of Experience.
  • Should have a good understanding of services business for fortune 1000 from the operations point of view
  • Ability to read, understand and communicate complex technical information
  • Ability to express ideas in an organized, articulate and concise manner
  • Ability to face stressful situation with positive attitude
  • Any certification in regards to cloud will be an added advantage
