Good understanding using revision control tools like CVS, GIT, Perforce. Preferred perforce
Very strong in coding with object perl or python. Preferred object perl
Very strong in writing shell scripts(bash, csh) or tcl
Should have completed few projects from scratch using object perl or python. Need to present this as part of the interview(architecture, coding., testing, qa, release)
Strong understanding in revision control tools and deep understanding in branching, code release, continuous integration
Should be a team player and willing to take/attend meetings during non office hours as needed
Basic knowledge using java or c/c++
Basic understanding of Verilog and design verification using simulators from cadence, vcs, mentor(preferred not a must)
