Job Summary
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
- Knowing security protocols, IT systems, networking infrastructures and database systems.
- Communicating complex information to a non-technological audience.
- Takes calls and emails from end-users that need assistance throughout the day to troubleshoot help desk ticket issues, this includes working with on-site and remote users.
- Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
