Manager, Plant Finance Job in Indospirit Distribution Limited

About the role

As a Plant Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end to end plant accounting, costing, variance analysis & MIS for Indospirit group factories located in Goa , Karnataka & upcoming projects. Business partnering with Internal & external business stakeholders. This function will report to Corporate finance team at Head office with a dotted line reporting to Manufacturing Head. This position will drive manufacturing KPIs for the group such as production volume & Cost of production. Overall Finance operations & equipment efficiency, Effective utilization of production capacity, maintenance cost, Variance analysis, inventory evaluation & Closure of factory P&L and monitoring return on investment.

What you will do day to day?

• Day to day Accounting & bookkeeping for production operations at plant including contract manufacturing
• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the plant, such as Inventory, Material Receipt, Contractor Payroll, invoicing, Sales dispatches and other transactions
• Review and analysis of RM, PM Consumption Postings including Product Wise Consumption Report and consolidation of Factory Cost of Production.
• Liaise closely with the Supply chain team at the plant and work towards optimizing costs.
• Timely analysis and review of plant related costs and Timely closure of the monthly Plant P&L other financial statements for ensuring smooth month end & annual closing of books of accounts.
• Regular inputs to the factory head for overall efficiency towards plant operations.
• Driving monthly stock take & Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the plant

What we are looking for ?

• Either B. Com/M. Com/ CA/CMA (Qualified/Semi Qualified)
• 5-7 years of prior work experience withexposure in handling accounting at manufacturing plant involving General &commercial accounting, Supply chain finance & end to end booking keeping
• Industry Exposure: Must have worked inManufacturing Plant
• Knowledge of ERP/Tally & MS Office
• Work location: Goa Factory
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Business acumen & Good analytical skillset
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication
