Sr.engineer Job in Indus Net Technologies

We are seeking a Senior Engineer for our software development team. In this position, you will take on the more advanced tasks for each project, which may include coding or debugging other engineers code. You will also double-check the work of junior engineers and provide guidance to help them advance their skills. Our ideal applicant has a bachelor s degree in computer science and extensive software development experience. You should also have a sharp eye for detail and some leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test code from junior-level engineers
• Help other engineers fix their code or solve complex problems
• Work with management to keep the project on track

Skills:

• BS in Computer Science or related discipline; MS a plus
• Extensive experience designing and delivering highly scalable resilient mission-critical backend services serving millions of users
• Proven ability to execute on a technical and product roadmap across multiple workstreams
• Deep knowledge of backend and web technology
• Extensive experience with iterative development and delivery
• Experience delivering and evolving multi-regional services a major plus
• Experience with modern data technology a major plus
• Extensive experience with observability for operating robust distributed systems instrumentation, log shipping, alerting, etc.
• Expert knowledge and fluency with at least one programming language. We mainly use Golang, JavaScript and Python today. Experience with functional programming a plus.
• Knowledge and fluency with SQL.
• Good understanding of docker and kubernetes for application deployment
• Outstanding analytical thinking, problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience:

• 3-4 years of AdTech experience a must
• 7-8+ years of overall commercial software development experience
• 3+ years experience developing products using AWS solutions

Employment Type: Contractual

Employment Duration: Minimum 6 months (can be extended upto 1 or more years or can be hired on Indus Net payroll)
