We are looking for a Business Operations Analyst to join our Business Operations team in Bangalore, reporting to the senior manager of Business Operations. In this role, you will conduct market research to support competitive intelligence and provide customer analysis for key stakeholders. . What you ll do:

  • Gather requirements and conduct primary / secondary market research to support data validation, competitive intelligence, and general customer analysis for internal and external stakeholders
  • Take an active role in data governance data enrichment, enhancements, data merge, and validation
  • Research warehouses like Bloomberg, Zoom info, Sales navigator etc.
  • Work with commercial database companies like Dun & Bradstreet Hoovers or GRS
  • Identify and explore areas for operational improvement and support initiatives for data integrity and normalization
  • Document business processes, rules, and procedures
  • Understand the different systems and tools involved as well as their limitations
  • Manage master data, including creation, updates, and deletion
  • Test the data loaded in multiple systems, coordinate IT, and gather signoff from a business on data quality and accuracy
  • Train peers and new employees with process and documentation

What you ll bring:

  • 5-7 years of experience in data governance/data stewardship
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset
  • Exposure to SFDC (Salesforce) preferred
  • Excellent presentation skills and comfort presenting analysis to stakeholders
  • Experience in advanced Excel, Salesforce, and Google sheets
  • Exposure to master data management (MDM) preferred
  • Meticulous attention to detail and interest in identifying and exploring areas for operational improvement
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, think creatively, and pivot depending on changing priorities and deadlines

What success looks like:

After six months, you will

  • Understand the business and processes to support requirements from various departments and stakeholders
  • Be the point of contact for any data-related issues
  • Drive toward automation to reduce manual efforts and propose enhancements

After about a year, you will

  • Support various corporate-level initiatives by facilitating data-driven decision making
  • Independently manage cross-functional projects and requirements from the Business Operations and Research & Analytics groups
  • Use a data-driven approach to improve analytics
