Position: Senior Analytics Developer Power BI

Purpose of the Position:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer with 7+ years of experience to lead the development of advanced business intelligence solutions. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to build interactive dashboards, implement analytics features, and deliver actionable insights for key decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Power BI Development: Design and build advanced dashboards, reports, and scorecards using Power BI with DAX, statistical modeling, and ML integration.
• Security Implementation: Configure Row Level Security (RLS) and manage user access roles in Power BI services.
• Data Integration & Modeling: Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to model and integrate data from multiple sources ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for data models, report specifications, and training resources for business users.
• Troubleshooting: Conduct QA testing, resolve production issues, and ensure smooth performance of Power BI solutions.
• UI Design: Deliver intuitive, visually compelling dashboards that make complex data accessible and insightful.

Essential Skills:

• Expert in Power BI development, DAX functions, Power Query, and report design.
• Strong SQL skills for writing and optimizing complex queries.
• Experience with performance tuning and scalable Power BI architectures.
• Skilled in managing deployment, integration, and version control.
• Experience with Co-Pilot and advanced Power BI features.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in the Pharmaceutical domain or with Commercial Operations data.
• Background in migration projects (e.g., from MicroStrategy or Tableau to Power BI).
• Familiarity with monitoring, auditing, and security implementation practices.
• Knowledge of data privacy, governance, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Power BI development and analytics.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Power BI Certification preferred.
• Experience working in Agile and SCRUM environments using tools like JIRA.
