Job Summary

Core Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Portfolio Product Directors and product sponsors to clarify/refine scope, vision, strategy and priorities that are most likely to deliver the greatest results to the business and the best solutions to customers

Partner and collaborate with the Product Portfolio Director on Go to Market strategies, roadmap, and priorities.

Build and maintain relationships with the internal product team and supporting departments, as well as external customers.

Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products.

Conduct interviews and product analysis to understand and assemble quality user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, site visits, workflows, user stories, scenarios, UX designs/testing, and other hypothesis testing, etc.

Conduct, create and provide product briefs, market analysis, competitor analysis, trend analysis, financial analysis (pricing, revenue & cost), success metric analysis, and customer metrics to stakeholders, as requested.

Develop clearly defined product requirements and translate into Epics, User Stories, and tasks

Manage the refinement of the product backlogs and all sprint planning exercises

Maintain product collateral and artifacts for all products within the portfolio, ensuring they are up to date and posted for team access

Develops an in-depth knowledge of the market landscape and identifies key areas of competitive strength and differences, and proactively identifies future opportunities as intended to inform the roadmap

Work with internal departments to gather and present product financials, roadmap updates and other product analysis

Work with internal stakeholders to ensure product readiness through pre-launch and launch (including releases for iterative product development) ?

Collaborate with Product Planning and Marketing team to support product launches, including all marketing collateral or campaigns.

Supports Product Support team on high priority defect cause analysis.

Leads all CRM and Provider Certification initiatives from planning to completion.

Design, implement and document all data flow configurations for every OEM in JD Power s ELMS backend.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Business, Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience

3+ years of experience in product management preferred, supporting product creation and growth efforts

Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification and various SDLC methodologies

Hands-on experience interacting with key decision makers and stakeholders both internally and at the client-level

Experience with Automotive OEMs preferred

Experience in an Information Technology environment preferred

Understanding of Agile Product Development Methodology; experience is a plus

Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

Excellent active listening, interviewing, verbal and written communication, documentation/writing, and diplomacy skills

Experience with cross-functional teams that include engineering, sales, and marketing, plus demonstrated effectiveness in interacting and communicating with executive management

Proven experience driving numerous parallel initiatives

Having managed products and feature areas through an entire software development lifecycle Is preferred

Good understanding of PC skills and hands-on experience creating diagrams and presentations using the Microsoft suite of products, including Microsoft Teams

Highly self-motivated and able to work independently in an ambiguous and highly dynamic environment

Ability to effectively prioritize, re-prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure

Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Experience working with APIs, JSON, XML

SQL expert
