Azure Cloud Database Administration Job in Infogen Labs

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the identification, evaluation, and subsequently, adoption of technologies in cloud environments, that will support business requirements, and which will also align with current architecture standards.
• Provide support in the secure and efficient migration of enterprise services and infrastructure to the cloud.
• Work in partnership with a multi-faceted group of colleagues, such as Architecture teams, Technical Leads, Project Managers, and others, to ensure a cohesive solution is defined, to efficiently produce cost estimates, develop migration plans and ultimately implement those tasks.
• Seek opportunities for automation of repeatable tasks, to further increase efficiency of current workflows.
• Develop migration plans, while analyzing various factors and dependencies, to drive effective implementation.

Technical knowledge::

• Expertise in Infrastructure and Database architecting on the Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform technologies and services.
• Must have led Microsoft Azure Database migrations, (2 PTB 5 PTB)
• Has expertise in migration from an on-prem data center to a cloud platform.
• Strategic planning and implementation of SQL Server Database migration from On Prem to Azure Cloud.
• Configuration of ETL Data update Sync to Target SQL Servers thru SAN / Microsoft Azure Sync Process.
• Dominance of concepts such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) and produce designs around these ideologies.
• Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and computing trends.
• Experience with the DevOps framework.
• Experience with cloud paradigms, such as serverless platforms, cloud containers, and microservices, among others.
• Experience with concepts such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
• Ability to envision transformation of monolithic, legacy applications, into efficient and optimized new designs, following current best practices and standards.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
