Web Design Specialist Job in Infor
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Develop and leverage design templates to build customer-facing web assets
- Translate design comps and annotated wireframes to into innovative web experiences using HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Interface with requestors to gather requirements, analyze business issues, provide recommendations and implement solutions
- Partner with designers to implement visual components and interface elements as needed
What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years relevant experience
- Computer Science or similar degree
- Self-motivated with strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in HTML/CSS/JavaScript -- hand-coded, clean, semantic, x-browser
- Knowledge of advanced CSS/CSS3 techniques (sprites, generated content, positioning, transitions, animations, etc.)
- Knowledge of responsive design best practices and how to implement it
- Understanding of node .js and DB
- Solid ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience building device agnostic web sites (desktop, tablet, mobile)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- UX design and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is an asset (not required)
- Back-end development and knowledge of other languages (.Net, C#, JSON, SQL, etc.) is an asset (not required)
