Mandatory skills / Candidate Profile:

• Strong coding skills in JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3, PostGIS, Postgre SQL, PG Routing, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, GeoServer/MapServerServices, Google and various API libraries, Open Layer 3-4 API library.
• Knowledge of geodatabase modeling, administration, performance tuning and support Ability Working
• Knowledge to handle large amount of spatial data and performing spatial operations and analysis.
• Knowledge of geo-processing techniques, spatial tools and system development
• Strong debugging, problem analysis capabilities, Root cause analysis.
• Strong understanding of application performance tuning
• Ability to work within Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation server

Preferred Skills

• Core GIS
• QGIS
• Spatial Data Analysis

Additional Skills

• Angular, ReactJS
• Ability to plan, install and maintain SQL server databases Knowledge
• Knowledge of ITS (Intelligent Transport System) Domain, Database Clustering, Load balancing, Spatial Data Distribution, building user friendly solutions would be an added advantage.

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities

• Assisting in design and implementation of GIS architecture, GeoServer/MapServer, map caching and geodatabase.
• Coordination, development, implementation, and operation & maintenance of the Geographic Information System (GIS)
• GIS planning and system development
• Creating GIS applications with OpenLayer JavaScript/TypeScript API, CSS and HTML 5
• Interface with non-spatial data using SQL (via stored procedures, ETL, SSIS, SSRS, etc.)
• Other responsibilities and duties as assigned on need basis.
