Job Summary Responsibilities: A day in the life of an Infosys consultant: Customer Issue Diagnosis: Identify customer problems, design innovative solutions, and facilitate deployment to enhance client satisfaction. Proposal Development: Contribute to proposal documents, providing inputs on solution design based on expertise. Configuration and Solution Implementation: Plan configuration activities, configure products according to design, conduct conference room pilots, and resolve any queries related to requirements and solutions. Solution Demonstrations: Conduct solution/product demos, POCs, and Proof of Technology workshops. Prepare effort estimates that meet customer budget and align with the company s financial guidelines. Project Leadership: Lead small projects, contributing to unit-level and organizational initiatives, with a focus on delivering high-quality, value-adding solutions to clients. Technical and Professional Requirements: Primary Skills: Telecom Domain expertise Proficiency in PLSQL and PERL scripting Preferred Skills: Open System knowledge Shell scripting Additional Responsibilities: Strategy Development: Develop value-creating strategies and models to help clients innovate, drive growth, and increase profitability. Software Configuration Management: Strong knowledge of software configuration management systems. Industry Trends: Stay informed about the latest technologies and industry trends. Problem-Solving & Collaboration: Demonstrate logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively. Financial Processes: Understand financial processes for various types of projects and pricing models available. Process Improvement: Assess current processes, identify improvement areas, and suggest suitable technology solutions. Industry Domain Knowledge: Knowledge in one or two industry domains. Client Interaction: Strong client interfacing and relationship management skills. Project & Team Management: Experience managing projects and teams. Educational Requirements: MTech, MSc, MCA, BE, BCA, BSc, Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent degree).
