This is a remote position. Implementation Engineer Location: Remote Work (India) About Intelehealth: Intelehealth is an international technology non-profit committed to improving access to primary health care in underserved regions of the world through its innovative technology platform. About the position: We are looking for an implementation engineer to provide great customer experiences and work with Intelehealth s clients and partners to execute telemedicine programs. You will be responsible for gathering project requirements, identifying user needs, working with the technical team for customizing Intelehealth s user interface, deploying Intelehealth and training users to meet the needs of the client. The implementation engineering track works across the full stack of the system. In the future you may choose to transition to a data analytics role. You will get the opportunity to work in an innovative and dynamic environment at an upcoming global start-up. Responsibilities towards Intelehealth implementations: Requirements gathering and needs assessment Configuration and customization of the platform Cloud server setup and maintenance Ensuring site reliability and uptime Pre-deployment platform reliability testing Pre-deployment training Roll out and at-the-elbow support during go live Support post deployment and go live Database engineering Querying for data extraction and reporting Implementation research Use insights from implementation to drive the further development of the technical capabilities of the platform Creating data visualizations and data dashboards Requirements Bachelor s in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, IT. Candidate with a Master s degree is preferred Prior experience working with OpenMRS is a benefit Working knowledge of the Android platform and familiarity with configuring end user devices running Android 2-3 years of work experience is required Essential: Excellent communication skills Familiarity with AWS Good knowledge of relational databases Proficiency in SQL and writing queries for data extraction Familiarity with Unix operating systems and cloud computing Basic understanding of networks. Basic understanding of how browser and server interact with each other over the network Ability to communicate, explain and teach basic computers Intelehealth to health workers (includes people who have never used a computing device) Knowledge of basic medical devices Analytical skills to be able to understand healthcare processes and its mapping to software systems Ability to communicate with development team Flexible to travel for few weeks to safe but remote parts in India and outside India Desirable: Knowledge of noSQL databases, particularly Mongodb, is a plus Experience in human centered design preferred Volunteer experience working in rural communities preferred Qualities: Ability to adhere to values and culture of the non-profit Ability to empathise with the our beneficiaries and end users for whom the technology is being developed Takes initiative, is self-driven and can wear multiple hats in a dynamic start up environment Flexible and able to respond to change Solutions focused with a can do attitude Innovative and self-learner Good communicator
