QA Lead Automation Cloud QA Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced QA Lead Automation Cloud QA Engineer to join our team in Coimbatore. In this role, you will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for cloud-based applications, collaborating closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software releases in a cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in test automation, cloud platforms, and quality assurance best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Automated Testing:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts for cloud applications using industry-standard frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Implement end-to-end automation to validate functionality, performance, and scalability of cloud-based systems.

Cloud Testing:

• Perform comprehensive testing on cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to guarantee seamless application performance in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines ensuring reliability and efficiency.

Test Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and refine test strategies, plans, and detailed test cases tailored for cloud applications.
• Define and monitor quality metrics and standards in partnership with cross-functional teams.

Defect Management:

• Identify, document, and track defects using industry-standard tools and processes.
• Work with developers and product teams to ensure prompt resolution of issues impacting software quality.

Performance Testing:

• Conduct performance and load testing to detect bottlenecks and optimize cloud application performance.

Collaboration & Leadership:

• Engage with development teams to understand system architecture and functionalities.
• Promote a culture of quality by collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for test environments and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in QA with a strong focus on automation and cloud-based testing.
• Proficient programming skills in Python, Java, or other scripting languages.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Expertise in automation testing frameworks such as Selenium (preferred), JUnit, and TestNG.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration and DevOps collaboration.
