Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance (QA) / Test Developer, you will play a critical role in improving software reliability by identifying potential weak spots, inefficiencies, and issues. You will collaborate with development teams and test engineers to deliver high-quality software products that meet rigorous quality standards, budgets, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop test plans and execute test cases to ensure software quality.
• Perform automation testing using Java and JUnit frameworks.
• Conduct API testing and API automation.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Work in an Agile development environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure DataPower gateway software meets the high standards required by major global enterprises, including banks, airlines, and insurance providers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software quality issues.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Test Development.
• Strong Java programming skills with expertise in OOP concepts.
• Hands-on experience in API testing and automation.
• Strong knowledge of manual software testing concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a structured approach to tackling issues.
• Ability to collaborate with development teams to enhance software quality.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• 8+ years of experience in QA/Test Development.
• Exposure to Linux-based environments and IBM DataPower.
• Strong Java OOPs knowledge with experience in JUnit framework.
• Hands-on experience in API testing and automation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, distributed global team environment.
