Senior DevOps Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

Work as an extended AWS DevOps support team of the client and participate in stand-up meetings with the client.

Learn and support the client's DevOps environment on AWS.

Design and implement hosting solutions on different AWS environments like dev, stage and prod.

Excellent communication skills and a good team player.

Work in a 24x7 support environment. Primarily work in USA mountain (MST/MDT) business hours.

Troubleshoot, test and provide technical solutions to issues that may be reported.

Proactively monitor Jira tickets and client communications.

COMPETENCIES/ SKILLS

Must be a good communicator to ensure proper daily customer communications accent-free, easily understandable and grammatically correct verbal and written English.

B. Tech CS/ MCA from a reputed university.

Total IT experience 7-8 yrs. At least 4-years experience as an AWS DevOps engineer.

Experience with open source configurations management tools such as Ansible, Terraform.

Working experience in Kubernetes & Docker environments.

Strong scripting or development background in Python.

Production experience in AWS.

Experience with open source and tools such as HAProxy, Apache, Nginx and Nagios.

Fluency with version control systems with a preference for Git.

Good Knowledge about Linux Servers.

Hands-on in monitoring and ticketing tools like Jira or Solarwind.
