Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and design solutions
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL processes using SAP BODS and SAP HANA
  • Develop and maintain SAP BODS jobs and workflows
  • Develop and maintain data integration solutions using SAP BODS
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP BODS processes
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all ETL processes and data integration solutions
  • Manage software development projects from inception to completion, including defining project goals, creating project schedules, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress
  • Provide technical leadership to the software development team, guiding them on technical issues, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring that the team is following best practices in software development
  • Manage the software development team, including hiring, training, and mentoring team members, setting performance goals, and ensuring that the team is working effectively
  • Communicate with stakeholders and clients to ensure that project goals and expectations are understood and met
  • Identify and manage risks that could impact the success of a software development project, assessing project risks, developing contingency plans, and ensuring that risks are communicated to stakeholders
  • Ensure that software being developed meets quality standards, including conducting code reviews, testing software, and ensuring that the team is following best practices in software development
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate project performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure project success

Experience: (8+ Years)

  • 4+ years of experience in SAP BODS & SQL
  • Hands-on experience with SAP DI or other similar ETL and data integration platforms such as IBM Datastage, Mulesoft, Informatica, SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI
  • Proficiency in any of SQL and database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, or SAP HANA
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Development of data ingestion pipelines and robust ETL frameworks. Implementation of data cleansing and data quality features in ETL pipelines
  • Experience in writing complex SQL queries using joins, aggregates, set operators, window functions etc
  • Experience in analyzing data on large (terabytes) and complex (unstructured) datasets
  • Hands on experience parsing responses generated by API s (REST/XML/JSON)
  • Experience in using CI/CD techniques, DevOps/Git repository code promotion and release/change management
  • Hands-on coding experience in Python, including packages such as Pandas, NumPy

Nice to have

  • Developer/Architect certification(s)
  • SAP HANA, Information Steward
  • Experience in Kafka/RabbitMQ, JavaScript, SAP S/4 Hana
  • Hands-on coding experience in Python, including packages such as Pandas, NumPy
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Able to manage Agile Scrum team
