About the role
Position Overview: The Slide Desk Presenter is responsible for delivering engaging and effective presentations by managing and presenting slide decks during meetings, conferences, and events. The ideal candidate will be skilled in visual communication, presentation design, and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Presentation Management:
- Prepare and review slide decks to ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and visually appealing.
- Operate presentation equipment, including projectors, computers, and remote clickers.
Delivery and Engagement:
- Present slides in a clear and engaging manner, adapting to the needs and responses of the audience.
- Answer questions and facilitate discussions related to the presentation content.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with content creators, designers, and stakeholders to understand the key messages and objectives of the presentations.
- Provide feedback on slide content and suggest improvements for clarity and impact.
Technical Support:
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during presentations.
- Ensure all multimedia elements (videos, animations, etc.) function correctly.
Preparation and Follow-Up:
- Conduct dry runs and rehearsals to ensure smooth delivery.
- Follow up on action items and feedback from presentations to improve future sessions.
What you will need to have
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Communication, Design, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in delivering presentations and managing presentation tools.
- Proficiency in presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, or similar.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with audiovisual equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to engage and interact effectively with diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role within a Edtech industryenvironment.
- Advanced skills in graphic design and multimedia content creation.
- Certification in public speaking or presentation skills.
