eCommerce Magento developer

We are looking to hire a skilled hands-on Magento developer to build and maintain eCommerce websites for our clients.

As a Magento developer, you will be responsible for liaising with the design team, setting up Magento 1x and 2x sites, building modules and customizing extensions, testing the performance of each site and maintaining security and feature updates after the installation is complete.

Magento Developer Responsibilities:

• Coordinating with the design team, developing Magento modules, coding the templates, troubleshooting interface issues, testing website performance and updating security patches.
• Meeting with the design team to discuss the needs of the company.
• Building and configuring Magento 1x and 2x eCommerce websites.
• Developing Magento modules in PHP using best practices.
• Designing themes and interfaces.
• Troubleshooting integration issues.
• Updating website features and security patches.
• Ability to integrate integration payment gateways.

Magento Developer Requirements:

• Should have a thorough skill set and experience in Magento 1.x/2.x.
• Demonstrated knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5/CSS3.
• Sound experience & knowledge of PHP & MySQL.
• Skilled in Object Oriented Programming and having a good understanding in frameworks: Symfony and/or Zend Framework 1/2.
• Experience with complete eCommerce lifecycle development.
• Knowledge of Google Tag Manager, SEO, Google Analytics, PPC and A/B Testing.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience in Knockout.js preferred.

Prerequisites:

• Should have 2-4 years of hands on experience.
• Should be a graduate B.Tech./M.Tech./MCA with consistent academic performance. Should have >60% in all qualifying exams.
• Good communication skills.
• Good analysis and problem solving skills.
