Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled React Native Developer to join our mobile app development team in Cochin. The ideal candidate will have experience building robust, high-performance mobile applications across Android and iOS using React Native. You ll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build pixel-perfect, smooth UIs for Android and iOS platforms using React Native.
  • Integrate native APIs for seamless platform-specific functionality.
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across devices and platforms.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.
  • Maintain clean, modular, and well-documented code.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests using tools like Jest or Mocha.
  • Collaborate with the open-source community and contribute to mission-critical fixes.
  • Assist in transitioning React web applications to React Native as needed.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+); experience with TypeScript is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of React Native architecture and mobile app lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with functional or object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling.
  • Knowledge of native build tools like XCode, Android Studio, Gradle.
  • Comfortable with third-party libraries and managing dependency conflicts.
  • Experience with offline storage, device permissions, and native modules.
  • Understanding of Git version control and Agile development practices.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
  • Prior work on transitioning web apps (React.js) to mobile using React Native.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
