Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Position Overview: As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for writing scripts and creating automation environments to perform repeated tests. Utilizing various automation tools, you will design, test, and deploy effective automation solutions to minimize manual testing efforts while ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design automated test strategies for functional, non-functional, and performance testing to increase coverage and reduce overall testing cycle times.
• Understand and analyze the Application Under Test (AUT) in terms of object identification and requirements.
• Create test scenarios and collect necessary test data.
• Identify end-to-end test scenarios and ensure code modularity.
• Develop and enhance test automation resources such as function libraries.
• Write and maintain test cases (test scripts) using element locators, WebDriver methods, JavaScript programming concepts, and TestNG annotations.
• Maintain and update automation resources regularly to ensure stability and scalability.
• Create performance tests using tools like LoadRunner.
• Develop and implement an automation framework for API tests.
• Debug and run automated tests, ensuring proper execution and identifying failures.
• Analyze test results and report on issues found during automated testing.
• Provide detailed test reports and contribute to the improvement of testing procedures.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in test automation using Cypress.
• Good knowledge of web environments, web elements, and operations on web elements.
• Basic understanding of functional and regression test automation methodologies.
• Proficiency in Cypress tools for web test automation.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript programming (data types, variables, operators, flow control statements, methods, exception handling, file handling, Excel operations, database operations, and OOP concepts).
• Experience with TestNG or other supported testing frameworks for grouping test cases, prioritizing, executing test batches, and generating test results.
• Familiarity with Maven and Git for build and version control.
• Experience in creating performance tests using LoadRunner.
• Understanding of test automation framework implementation and design.
• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and tools.
