Role Overview:
We re seeking a detail-oriented and analytical FinOps Executive to join our Finance & Operations team in Bhubaneswar. You ll be responsible for ensuring accurate financial processes, managing reporting, and supporting compliance through robust data handling and reporting tools.
This is an ideal role for someone with a finance background, solid Excel/VBA/SQL skills, and a passion for data-driven financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial operations: invoicing, payables, receivables, and expenses.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support internal reconciliations.
- Generate financial reports, dashboards, and KPI analysis for business review.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and management presentations with financial data insights.
- Perform variance analysis, profitability tracking, and financial modeling.
- Ensure timely resolution of financial issues with vendors and internal teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments on financial documentation and compliance.
- Contribute to automation efforts by creating Excel macros, VBA functions, and SQL-based queries.
- Identify and implement process improvement strategies across financial workflows.
- Support the team in preparing reports for regulatory compliance and audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2 4 years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or FinOps roles.
- Strong knowledge of Excel functions (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, PivotTables), data comparison, and conditional formatting.
- Familiar with financial principles, compliance, and documentation standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel, including:
- Macros
- VBA functions
- Data sorting, validation, conditional formatting
- Basic working knowledge of SQL and ability to write queries.
- Experience in automating reports and reconciliation processes.
