Path Solutions is looking to hire a Lead Middleware Platform Engineer for its Development center in Kochi, Kerala.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, documents and analyzes overall architecture of systems, including hardware and software
• Determines integrated hardware and software architecture solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs
• Researches and recommends technology to improve the current systems
• Contributes through proven technical expertise
• Applies in-depth knowledge of discipline/specialty area standards/processes
• Performs installation and configuration of highly available infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Software Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of experience
• Worked on Change Management Process for deploying application infrastructure
• Deployed infrastructure, installation and support of systems, Dev, Test, UAT, Staging, and Production environments
• Installed and configured a portal on Tomcat
• Configured and managed Tomcat clusters for four Java components
• Installed Apache web server plug-ins and integrated with Tomcat
• Installed, configured and administered Apache and Tomcat on Linux and Windows
• Configured Apache and Tomcat and integrated with middleware such as WebLogic, WebSphere and/or JBOSS application server
• Involved in Java application server configuration tuning and Java Virtual Machine (JVM) tuning
• Implemented clustering, performance tuning and troubleshooting of WebLogic application server, Tomcat, JBOSS and windows servers
• Performed back-end and middle-tier software configuration and updates, to include Oracle and Java software
• Involved in debugging of RDBMS database level and Java code. Knowledge of Oracle and/or SAP Sybase is preferred
• Installed and configured Apache Tomcat web server and ready to install SSL Certificates
• Provides performance and system statistics and analyzes bottlenecks while monitoring the Java applications
• Involved in troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for infrastructure and application issues, and performs Problem Management review with the team
• Worked on configuration, performance tuning, clustering, and troubleshooting of infrastructure related problems
• Created procedures, best practices, and training materials to mentor other team members.
