Job Summary

Role Overview

We are seeking Software Engineers to work as SDE- Automation in our development team. You will working with a group of motivated Software Engineers who are responsible for automation of exchange market gateway and FX. This involves deep familiarity with product s technical and functional requirements, and working directly with Development Engineers and Client Services (typically located in different offices, in different countries). It requires an understanding of system architecture and an understanding of financial markets and financial instruments. You must also be familiar with product development life cycle models such as Agile and be proficient in Java/Python and should have worked UNIX operating system.

Responsibilities

  • Working directly with our QA team to develop emulators for market gateways and building scalable automation tool kit
  • Working with exchanges on testing of new functionality and market upgrades
  • Potential requirement to travel to other offices, and customer sites

Your Profile

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in developing automation software in the capital markets domain.
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, or Computers/IT
  • NCFM certifications in Derivatives, Capital markets etc.
  • ISTQB QA certifications
  • Familiarity with asset types like Equities, Derivatives, FX, Bonds, Commodities etc.
  • Excellent knowledge on Order Trade Life Cycle
  • Experience in software testing life cycle including analyzing specifications and developing effective strategies and executing the test plans
  • Working knowledge of FIX protocol
  • Proficient with atleast one of themajor programming languages like Java, C++
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python
  • Hands on experience on Unix like platform.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
