Senior Test Engineer-manual And Api Job in Ivy Comptech Pvt Ltd.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• About with 2 to 6 years of manual & automation experience in various products.
• Should be proficient in Test case design, Test development, Execution, Defect Tracking, and root cause analysis.
• Strong experience in different Testing approaches - Functional, Integration, Regression and Performance.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile methodology.
• Experience with API automation testing on tools such as Postman, SOAP UI and other REST API clients.
• Should have strong experience in UI testing -Web/mobile/API Testing, both designing test scenarios, implementing automation scripts and their execution.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Should ensure quality of the product in alignment to the product requirement.
• Should be able to develop testcases covering functionality, negative test scenarios, user behaviors, non-functional requirements -load test/performance test and execution them on different environments.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software testing life cycle.
• Create bug reports and co-ordinate withJdev team.
• Develop in-depth system and product knowledge for higher test quality and coverage.
• Collaborate with relevant team members (BA s, Dev and QA) to understand product scope, identify and prioritize test cases for automation.
• Ensure that the critical test scenarios are automated for release testing.

Experience: 2-6 years in given skillset

Skillset

• Knowledge onSQL, PL/SQL
• Any web-based Automation tool with good programing skills to use the tool

• Experience in using tools like postman, SOAP UI
• Expert in API testing (manual and automation)
• Familiar with any database and querying them using SQL
