In this role, you will be responsible for project delivery, design management, and project management for positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. The role will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering, and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver, and operate a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports the Project Manager (PM) and Construction Manager (CM) in monitoring and maintaining control of cost and schedule performance through a Project Controls System, including earned value management, key performance indicators, risk management, and change control.
  • In coordination with the PM/CM, routinely interfaces with senior client management regarding program planning and execution. Frequently interfaces and coordinates with Project Manager, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management in developing schedules, budgets, and monitoring performance.
  • Create and implement project controls plans to support contract requirements and the successful execution of project controls.
  • Conducts interactive planning (IAP) meetings and program/project status briefings for internal and external representatives/stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain resource-loaded P6 project schedule.
  • Develop & implement intermediate milestones for critical packages to manage timely delivery.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on progress, cost, and schedule variances and forecasts.
  • Flags significant projected overruns or underruns.
  • Analyze cost and schedule impact based on RFIs/Change Orders.
  • Analyze and evaluate project status and recommend corrective actions.
  • Familiar with high-tech or other fast-based building construction.
  • Knowledge of Indian statutory requirements & documentation for all project stages.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures on the project.
  • Effectively communicate and work closely with the project team, client, sub-consultants, and main contractors.

Qualifications

  • B.Tech. in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with 15+ years of experience in design engineering consulting organization. At least 7 years of experience on medium to large EPCm/PMC industrial Projects as PCM or Project Controls Lead role.
  • Competent to use Project Tools such as Primavera (P6) & Microsoft Project along with the normal requirements for Office, intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge. Experience on EcoSys will be an added advantage.
  • Must be able to travel locally and occasionally globally.

Qualification :
B.Tech. in Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering with 15+ years of experience in design engineering consulting organization. At least 7 years of experience on medium to large EPCm/PMC industrial Projects as PCM or Project Controls Lead role.
