Job Summary

The role is a highly strategic one that makes an impact on the agency s growth. You are primarily being charged to develop the new business as a strategic activity that not only enhances revenues but also the stature of the agency.

Responsibilities:
As Business Developer, your role is to identify growth needs of the agency, and strategize it with head of the agency.

  • Identify markets and segments for developing new business, generate leads and successfully lead to closure of the business lead.
  • Identify the new revenue streams, propose and develop new strategic partnerships, and finalise the client agreements after due consultation with the head of the agency.
  • While inbound calls from prospective clients are important and needs due attention, a strategic plan to pursue new business plugging into overall vision and objectives of the agency is crucial.
  • Contacting the potential client as soon as a query is received or at the earliest to discuss and identify their advertising requirements and setting up a meeting.
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations about the services of the agency and pitching for sales along with other agencies, then developing the requirement and remuneration proposals and sharing with the prospective clients.
  • Research organizations and individuals to identify new leads and potential new markets.
  • You need to nurture relationships, contact the potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
  • Prepare all necessary tools that will help in acquiring new business including Agency credentials, Agency show reel, Agency s case studies, updating Agency s website and social media.

  • Ability to project an appropriate positive image of the agency is a must.

Qualifications:

  • 7 - 8 years of experience as a business development.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Detail-oriented and persuasive.
