Responsibilities Work closely with the Development Manager and supervise the QA team, delegate tasks, mentor, and encourage best practices. Get an excellent grasp on testing complex microservices systems, and web and mobile-based applications with reference to databases and other back-end systems. Write test plans and test cases for assigned features. Develop and maintain automation frameworks for large scale real-time server-side systems Participate in the performance testing, upgrade/migration activities, and POC of framework/tools for automation. Work on end-to-end testing of features/products which involves both manual(which will act as a prequel to automation) and automation testing. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or a related discipline). 4+ years of experience as an SDET Experience in mobile app testing - Android and iOS. Hands-on experience in API automation with frameworks like Rest Assured. Hands-on experience with Automation tools like Appium and Selenium along with any programming language like JAVA/Python is plus. Possess good exposure to functional, integration, installation, upgrade, compatibility, GUI, smoke, accessibility, ad hoc, and regression testing. And also well-versed in Persona-based testing. Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB for database testing. Experience in testing APIs using Postman. Exposure to AWS or any other cloud ecosystem. Good exposure to GIT, Jenkins, CI/CD, or similar tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving and communication(both verbal and written)skills. Should have used tools like Xcode, and Android Studio. Own communication throughout the sprint/release cycle, quality, and delivery of the entire feature. Performance testing (Jmeter) and benchmarking. Familiarity with Agile development. Logic and problem-solving aptitude. Knowledge of capturing and diagnosing server logs. Good to have: Experience working in the fintech domain.
