Job Summary

The job entails Receipt, Storage-cum-preservation & issue of Raw material with experience of handling stores in a large size chemical plant with multi-location storage points for both liquids & solids.
Will be responsible for ensuring timely available of raw material for uninterrupted production by coordinating with plant/functional heads & procurement teams.
Should have thorough knowledge of best practices in storage of chemicals including hazardous material, MSDS & insurance related formalities.
Should be conversant with FIFO method of storage & issue, ageing analysis & shelf life.
Will be responsible for on-time accounting of incoming & outgoing goods i.e. GRN & issue slips.
Should be conversant with ERP software & have high degree of proficiency in computer skills.
