Public Relations Job in Jsw Steel

Responsible for obtaining approval for purchasing /acquisition of land obtaining clearances from private individuals, the Government Authorities. Effective and result oriented liaison with the office of local Stakeholders & Influencers, District Administration, Police and other Organizations.

Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators)

1.Maintaining good relation, create & maintain a positive public image for the individuals, groups organizations, local villagers & Govt officials.

2.Projects and Reports Compiling and submitting documents for project (under planning) and obtaining project approvals from Govt of Karnataka.

3.Focus on Gram Panchayat, Town Municipal Council, Local Administration, Police and Intelligence Agencies

4.Land acquisition private acquisitions, government acquisitions and other Authorities.

Critical Tasks

KRA s and Key Activities

Sanctions and Approvals for various projects from Govt Offices at District and State Level.

Follow-up with Govt Offices, Gram Panchayat for various compliances by the company.

Observe and maintain healthy relation with the locals. Be point of contact for locals and Govt offices on behalf of the Company.

Observe and maintain close vigil on the activities of locals in the surrounding villages.

Maintain data bank and necessary MIS for land related information.

Decision making authority (Decisions expected)

Scrutiny of land related documents and participate in various forums organized by Govt offices, local bodies and NGO etc in the interest of the Company.

Educational Background and Work Experience

Any Graduate with 15 25 years of experience

Exposure to the rules and procedures in acquisition/purchase of land for projects.

Knowing local language is advantage

Competencies

Risk Assessment/Analysis.

Negotiation Skills

Bye laws of Govt of Karnataka on land issues, explosive, Licenses GP taxes etc.
