Manager / Senior Manager - Ehs At Bharuch Site Job in Jubilant Infrastructure Limited

Position Name: Manager/ Sr. Manager-EHS

Reporting to: Head - EHS

Summary of Job:

• To comply with the statutory requirements pertaining to EHS as stipulated by directorate of Industrial Safety & Health, Controller of Explosives and pollution Control Board.
• Responsible for Safety of the plant (External and Internal)
• Ensure implementation of best Safety, Occupational Health, Fire & Environment management practices

Job responsibility:

• Ensure the maintenance of records for all regulatory compliance obligations required under all applicable EHS related laws.
• Serve as primary contact for all site related inspections, work permits, training, etc.
• Maintain compliance with permits, government regulations and other industry practices.
• Work with Corporate EHS for EHS improvement plans and play a key role in feedback and assisting their implementation.
• Manage the implementation and sustenance of EHS programs, compliance plans, and initiatives.
• Maintain robust MIS and seamless coordination with the corporate EHS function for implementation of corporate objectives.
• Participate in the investigation of incidents, near misses and property damage incidents. Ensure follow-up of recommendations to ensure 360 implementations of CAPA to prevent recurrence and proper records/documents are maintained.
• Conduct & support routine EHS inspections and audits (Internal & External) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company EHS policies, procedures and practices.
• Maintain internal and regulatory reporting including data collection and reporting including but not limited to air, water and surface water discharge.
• Ensure efficient functioning of Integrated Management systems (ISO 9000, 14000 and OHSAS 18000 & RC 14001) Support Business Continuity, through Onsite and Offsite Emergency drills, and periodically review based on the site EHS Risks.

Qualification & Experience:

B. E / B. Tech / B SC Chemical / Environment Engineering, and a Diploma in Industrial Safety (PDIS) from CLI/RLI, etc. In 5+ years of experience in the area of EHS of large integrated chemical complex. Lead auditor for ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems would be preferable
