Position: Assistant Foreman - Instrument

• Job Profile
• Formulate a plan, review and analyse preventive maintenance strategy for the equipment instrumentation in order to achieve highest efficiency of the activities for reliable and safe operation.
• Troubleshooting and corrective action of instrument breakdown or failures to find the root cause and best solution in order to restore the functionality back to normal.
• Attend to technical query by operation personnel and provide advice/solution according to best engineering practise to address issues which affect the operation.
• Administer the relevant contract, its contractors and suppliers associated to the works as contract holder to ensure compliance to the procedures, policies and guidelines set to support the maintenance needs.
• Identify, study, propose, and implement area for improvement (project) in the field of instrumentation engineering to enhance operation and improve total equipment reliability.
• develop the plan, scope and lead the execution of shutdown works for instrumentation to ensure completion within the specified window.
• Supervise work execution on site, develop procedures and instruction for either maintenance, shutdown or project to ensure compliance to safety, specification, standard and procedures in order to achieve highest quality of the work.
• Knowledge Required

• Control systems:- DCS/PLC/SCADA-Should be able to work on Marshalling panels, Cable Termination/Trouble shooting in panels.

• Field Instrumentation :- SMART DPT/PT, Control valves, SMART Positioners Electromagnetic, Coriolis Mass , Vortex, Turbine, Flow meters, Orifice based Flow meters, Boiler Instrumentation, PH, Conductivity meters, Stack Monitoring system, PID Controllers/ Digital Indicators, Temperature Sensors, Various Switches ((Press. ,Temp. Flow) VFDs Pneumatic Actuators, Solenoid Valves etc.. Drum Filling M/Cs

• Shall be able to work on Maximo/ BaaN system (Added Advantage)
• Knowledge of Electrical systems will have Added Advantage

• Experience:- Min. 3/5 Yrs. In Chemical Plant. Experience in Continuous Distillation process, Coal Fired Boilers, R.O. D.M. Water Plant. Waste Water treatment plants. Safety Systems Like Heat & Smoke Detection system, Shall ready to work in shifts(Must).

• Qualification :- ITI- Instrumentation & Control

• Minimum 4-6 years of working experience in instrumentation maintenance in Chemical Company
• Strong interpersonal skills, a team player and able to work with all levels of management and multinational staff.
