The Kailash Satyarthi Childrens Foundation (KSCF), set up by Nobel Peace Laureate, Mr. Kailash Satyarthi, is a global thought leader for prevention of exploitation and violence against children. KSCF works for the creation of a child-friendly world through direct interventions and programmes, research and capacity building, and campaigns for the mobilization of mass support and behaviour change. Mr. Satyarthis lessons learned guide the Foundations work to engage children and youth as part of the solution, build greater collaboration between governments, business and communities, ensure effective national and international laws, scale know-how and successful practice and create partnerships with key stakeholders.
Job purpose
As a Project Officer, you are the drive behind the organisations child friendly village programme. In your position, you are responsible for overall documentation, maintaining crucial project documents which track project progress. Fileing of all project documents in an appropriate manner and ensure that all documents are accurate.
Job Description
Key Responsibility Areas
- Regular and monthly project progress reports of all the projects implemented in the state need to be shared with the supervisor and then it need to be shared with central office and approved reports need to be filed properly.
- To monitor preparation of reports and finalisation of reports as per schedule.
- Prepare and submit monthly report in accordance with the action plan also indicating challenges faced and achieved outcomes by 25th of every month to the supervisor.
- Identify and share best practice and learning with project team
- Any other work assigned by the supervisor/organization
Programme
- To ensure smooth implementation and coordination of KSCF's Bal Mitra Gram (Child Friendly Village) programme.
- Pay regular visits to the project villages to strengthen community outreach and ensure implementation of project activities
- To design work plan and activities for project villages in the project area an ensure overall implementation of work plan
- Participate in any other activities that may be required to fulfill the objectives of the programme
- Stay informed about larger educational, economic and developmental issues as well as those that relate to the organisation's programmes.
Documentation
- To oversee collection of data and preparation of project/ progress reports in accordance with schedule finalised by the central office.

- To carry out meticulously process documentation and documentation of best practices and share with the central office on monthly basis.
- Data is key and hence all data related to all projects executed need to be documented and shared to the central office database.
- To share all data to central office and maintain MIS related to projects at the field level.
Networking and advocacy
- Develop and strengthen partnerships with the local government, civil society organisations and other stakeholders for implementation of project activities.
- Take a lead role in advocacy and dissemination activities with the Government during the project period
Skills & Competencies for the role:
- Understanding of children issues, child rights and development issues at grass roots
- Demonstrate a strong awareness and knowledge in relation to BMG program.
- Should have ability to perform under pressure
- Must be having good Writing/Comprehension skills in English Language
- Should have sufficient knowledge about computer based tools
- Develop, complete and finalize all project deliverables according to the timeline.
- Must be able to multi-task, Self-driven and results oriented
Education:
Graduate degree in any discipline or equivalent

Requirements
Experience and Exposure
- Minimum 03 years of relevant experiencewith adequate experience in working for child protection project
- Professional experience of programme documentation and do-nor reporting at national or international level preferred.
- Project Start-up experience is desired
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Female Candidates strongly preferred
