To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Ensuring the pre-payroll processing tasks are completed on time and accurately so that the final payrolls are run successfully each time. Supporting documents are audited before the payout and these are maintained for any future reference/audit. Work on post payroll activities/monthly payroll reconciliation to ensure the pay data is up to date across systems and readily available. Support HR transactions pertaining to Hire to Retire cycle (onboarding, offboarding, Job changes etc.) besides working on payroll activities. Act as a first point of contact for any HR& payroll related queries received through case management tool/emails. Partner with the Payroll team to resolve any complaints/ escalations. Perform Root cause analysis for such escalations and ensure that the lessons learnt/corrective & preventive actions have been deployed. Help ensure that all internal and external HR & payroll audit requirements are met and statutory guidelines are adhered to. Participate in all HR change programmes that have a direct impact on HR/Payroll, including any testing and implementation of required changes to HR/Payroll processes. Build excellent working relationships with HR Business Leaders and key stakeholders from Payroll department. Drive new initiatives, implement process improvement ideas for better efficiency and employee experience. Qualifications and Experience Minimum bachelor s degree required. preferred. Any Payroll certification/F&A background would be an added advantage. 3+ years of experience in Payroll domain. Shared service experience preferred. Excellent understanding and experience of working with Payroll systems. Good understanding of current Payroll legislation and compliance. Experience of delivering HR/payroll projects, alongside the operational delivery. Good knowledge of MS tools especially Microsoft Excel
