Job purpose

Interacts with current clients and internal employees by providing support on a daily basis. Develops custom, potentially complex WordPress-based solutions along with general PHP framework-based solutions. Aids sales staff, account managers, and others in requirements gathering, web project planning, and general technical questions. Aids other developers with system design and implementation. Performs server maintenance and monitoring.

Qualifications, Roles & Responsibilities:

- 2 + Years of experience

- Intermediate object-oriented PHP.

- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and specifically MySQL.

- Basic to intermediate knowledge of WordPress

- Understanding open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, wikis, OS Commerce, etc.

- Demonstrate knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery Ajax, etc.

- Knowledge of PHP frameworks (CodeIgniter, Symfony, Yii, Zend, etc) a plus. Laravel strongly desired.

- Knowledge of design patterns a plus. MVC strongly desired.

- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) a plus.

- Familiar with OS X and iOS as to be able to provide internal support.

- Knowledge of change control systems, specifically Git, a plus.
