At Applify, we re working on making world-class digital experiences for top Startup and enterprise products around the world. You will be working along with the Head of Engineering. We are looking for an Assistant Head of Engineering who is committed to delivering seamless & intuitive digital experiences.

Major Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for developing and designing back-end web architecture.
• You will ensure that the teams' Design patterns, Coding methodologies, Unit Testing, and Documentation are on point
• Understand client requirements and prepare logic for translating those into software applications
• Uses coding methods in specific programming languages to initiate or enhance program execution and functionality
• Guide installation of code releases, patches and scripts or programs for IT applications .
• You will be responsible for taking care of team related tasks.

Requirements :

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills in English

Minimum 7 years of tech experience of having built scalable web/mobile applications.

Expert in Node with frameworks like Express or Hapi

Experience in building (secure) RESTful services and MVC pattern

MEAN/MERN experience preferred: Datasets like MongoDB, Redis, Firebase | JavaScript

front end framework/libraries like Good to have Angular/ReactJS experience for web

development.

Experience consuming an array of web services: XML / SOAP / JSON

Experience in databases MongoDB, MySQL, Postgres

Ability to build a feature from scratch & drive it to completion.

Manage code on Github repository
