Job Summary

Job Responsibilities:

Business Analysis, Requirements Gathering, and Solutioning

  • Define the strategy and path for a team responsible for delivering technology-enabled business solutions that are critical to the day-to-day operations and continued growth of the business
  • Translate business requirements/problem statements into system changes
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions with business users
  • Document (BRDs, User Stories) requirements for new features, enhancements, data capture, process functions, reports, and training, integrations, dependencies
  • Develop expertise on internal systems and understand the functionalities of the system
  • Analyze the impact of changes to previously implemented releases
  • Manage communication across all stakeholder groups
  • Be involved and engaged through software development life cycle and own requirement management end to end from initiation through implementation

Delivery

  • Must act as Scrum Master for delivery/project teams
  • Lead and manage the Business solutions team drive requirements meetings, be the SPOC for all solutions related discussions and decision making, plan and execute requirement management and testing through delivery/releases
  • Work with internal/external technical delivery teams for planning and executing the development activities and timely delivery of solutions, as per agreed scope
  • Track, manage, and report project deadlines and schedules

Testing and Release

  • Planning and execution of functional / user acceptance testing, Develop comprehensive test scenarios, cases, and test data
  • Execute tests, analyze and document results, and address issues as and when they arise
  • Plan and Execute release management process
  • Own and manage all project and release documentation for audits

People Management

  • Manage a team of Business Solution Specialists of ~5+ years of experience
  • Delegate and coordinate tasks for the team
  • Coach, mentor team members
  • Plan KRAs, objectives and track performance against set objectives

Qualifications& Experience:

  • Bachelor s degree in finance, accounting, MIS, business, technology, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience working as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Team Lead
  • Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Good knowledge of banking and financial services domain, and one or more out of loan management process, credit risk, or asset-liability management process, credit risk, or asset-liability management

Skills:

  • Extensive experience in requirements gathering, design, development, and testing of business software
  • Extremely comfortable in creating and executing testing strategies, including but not limited to unit, functional, system, stress, performance, usability, regression, and acceptance testing
  • Good understanding of product/systems, integrations, dependencies, APIs, Web services, web, and mobile applications
  • Strong verbal and written communicator, able to speak with the business experts and understand the loan management and accounting domain Well organized and consistently delivers on commitments
  • Good team and a people person
