Job Summary

Job Description

    • Graphic Designer is responsible for designing innovative creative materials for Equity Crowdfunding and marketing projects across multiple channels.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and layout of projects and campaigns from beginning conceptual stages through approval, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and on-time delivery for specified medium/channel (ie - web, social, email)
    • Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of online advertising
    • Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software
    • Create motion and 3d graphics
    • Create memes for usage in social media posting
    • Edit video
    • Work with copywriters and creative team leadership to produce the final design
    • Test graphics across various media
    • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
    • Leverage internal data & analytics tools to identify learnings related to concepts/designs/attributes that are best supporting our ability to deliver against our business objectives
    • Be up to speed on the latest design trends and industry best practices
    • Understanding of basic equity crowdfunding principles and SCC rules and regulations

Minimum Qualification

    • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
    • Three to five years of related experience and/or training, or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work
    • Must have a thorough knowledge of graphics-related software including Adobe Creative Cloud programs, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat
    • Fluent in the English Language
    • Possess exceptional time management abilities to ensure creative request deadlines are met
    • Proficiency in taking direction and executing changes when necessary
    • Ability to multi-task and be flexible to shift between projects as new priorities emerge
    • Discussion and problem-solving skills regarding department practices and procedures
    • Ability to work on collaborative projects and independently
    • Possess the highest integrity and ethical standards
    • Working knowledge of Basecamp is a plus
