Job Summary

Job Description:

Responsible to measure and optimize web-based applications to improve ease of use (usability) and create the best user experience by exploring many different approaches to solve problems. Must be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and provide solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Design and deliver wireframes, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces for web portals.
  • Communicate design ideas and wireframe/prototype with development team and other stack holders and work with them to optimize existing user interface designs.
  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate with latest user interface trends and techniques.

Skills:

  • Strong design skills and demonstrated success creating web-based UI/UX solutions.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills (both oral and written) as well as a demonstrated ability to develop visually persuasive web designs
  • Competence in using high fidelity designing tools like Adobe Photoshop/Adobe Suite is essential
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript is a plus
  • Self-starter and quick learner to rapidly acquire the knowledge and experience needed to effectively communicate improvements and suggestions on current portfolio of KMK web reporting tools

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience UI/UX Designer, web-based experience is preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor s/Master'sdegree in a relevant area
