Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Skills Set :

- Development skills and experience in Scala language is a must.

- Experienced with distributed computing and Big data distributed environment development.

- Should be highly experienced with Apache Spark/Lagom and should have optimization experience in Apache Spark/Lagom.

- RDBMS experience with Postgres/MySQL.

- Should have knowledge of Parquet, AVRO, JSON, AWS S3.

- Must have experience in designing relevant data models that deal with high data velocity and/or volume.

- Should have experience with Apache Kafka.

- Having experience in consuming data from web-services (REST in JSON/XML format) and having knowledge of exposing web-services will be considered a plus.

- Experience with Apache NiFi is considered a plus.

- Experience with Databricks Notebook/Zeppelin is considered a plus.

- Should be familiar with modern software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, etc.

- Knowledge of GIT is mandatory.

- Capability to handle multitask and prioritize to ensure timely delivery with good team management skills

- Candidates should have a positive attitude with high energy, initiative, enthusiasm and persistence.

Qualifications:

• MCA/BTech/BE in computer science, information systems, or similar technical fields would be preferred.
