Job Summary

Report To: Head of Marketing

Qualification: Graduate with relevant Digital Marketing Course

Experience: 2 to 3 years

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Create and develop marketing plans to drive membership growth and manage membership data and analytics
  • Social Media Optimization: Manage and grow groups on Linkedin, Facebook, twitter and other networks
  • Create and Run Email Marketing Campaigns for Leads a well as Industry Outreach.
  • Develop marketing initiatives through site improvements; conducting A/B tests of e-marketing efforts, development and deployment of Newsletters
  • Work with SEO to monitor and continually improve organic and paid search results campaigns with a special focus on external linking
  • Manage all site analytics and closely measuring the performance of site activity, promotions and usability
  • Build and execute marketing campaigns to our sponsors using both CRM and Excel based systems for targeted and effective marketing communication
  • Build strategic partnerships with industry associations, lobby groups, publications, industry media blogs and other
  • Create, edit and maintain event webpagesin Wordpress CMS. Ensuring that web content, and online elements are continually evaluated, updated and enhanced.
  • Strategize with the team to develop content strategies targeting both internal and external stakeholders

  • Database Management: Manage the opt-in database using our internal CRM system

Professional Skills:

  • Candidates with subscription marketing experience (to online or print publications) AND/OR Event Marketing experience AND/OR Experience in working with Consulting Firms are strongly preferred
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in digital / online marketing strategies and tactics Both INBOUND & OUTBOUND
  • Experience building external marketing partnerships with Industry/Trade associations, Publications, Media Houses, Lobby Groups etc
  • 2 to 3 years of social media marketing experience with strong background in LinkedIn Marketing
  • At least basic level experience with HTML for both Website management and Email mailers
  • Basic experience in Email Marketing Automation tools like MailChimp, Amazon SES etc
  • Intermediate experience with Google Analytics, PPM and SEO Strategies
  • Experience in using Marketing Automation tools like HubSpot, Buffer or any others.
  • Should have an eye for marketing collaterals designs for Emailers, Linkedin Posts, Brochures and Webinar/Conference/Events Agendas
  • CRM and/or enterprise software experience is desirable
  • Experience of using a content management system (CMS)
  • Working knowledge of web interface design and multimedia
  • Outstanding writing and editing skills
  • Proven ability in the creation and execution of quality email and online campaigns
  • Understanding of the online environment and evolving web tools used to improve online marketing efforts
  • Ability to write press releases and distribute them for maximum impact. It would also be desirable to be able to identify PR opportunities with clients.
  • Practical experience of using PPC tools like Google Adwords and LinkedIn advertising
  • Strong commercial focus with an ability to identify opportunities beyond the obvious
  • Demonstrable enthusiasm for digital and keeping up to date with new trends, technologies and opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build relationships quickly
  • Passionate about analyzing results and motivated by driving success in the form of revenue and profit
