Job Description
Primary purpose of the role
We are seeking energetic, enthusiastic, and eager to learn fresh-graduate / experienced candidate to join our development team as a UI/UX Designer. The ideal candidate must have demonstrable experience building business-oriented solutions and have a good understanding of Modern Web Development stack (CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery). The candidate must be self-motivated, detail oriented with strong logical thinking and organizational skills. This role provides opportunities to gain experience in DevOps, middle-tier, frontend development, and mockup designing softwares (Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD and more).
Major responsibilities & deliverables
The position requires maintaining an existing design as well as scratch designing. Following are the responsibilities that lie under:
- Build rich visual and reusable component systems
- Participate in creating wireframes, UI mocks and user stories
- Develop client and internal facing features ensuring technical feasibility of the UI/UX designs
- Develop quality frontend code paired with unit testing coverage
- Maintain and support existing solutions
- Translate business requirements into functional code
Experience
Qualifications:
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Styled-Components is a plus
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD.
- Basic understanding of Modern Web Technologies, Micro-services, Component Hierarchy
- Exposure and ability to lean and adopt new technologies
