Responsibilities Plan equipment, material and manpower requirements to meet production schedule Plan, schedule and monitor material movement in production cycle to ensure continuous operations Effectively organizes resources and activities to deal with short-term concerns Schedule shifts according to production needs Releasing/Closing MOs/Wos, as per production forcast Plan production control activities to improve uptime while maintaining high quality, timely delivery & cost-effectiveness Work with SCM department in material planning and analysis to reduce inventory level Perform inventory management Monitor inventory levels of FG and Raw material and making adjustments to reduce slow moving and obsolete inventory Work in close coordination with SCM & Finance to ensure material uptime for production Collating forecasts and proposing an optimal procurement plan for the month Work with QA and Production departments for material reconciliation Uses analysis of historical data and current trends to make meaningful projections and forecasts Prepare monthly MIS report Skills required Knowledge of Functional application software (ERP/SAP) TPM or Lean Manufacturing Experience strongly preferred. Well versed with Sheet metal and Injection moulding operations Effective Communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
