Job Overview: As the Tentpole Lead, you will be responsible for leading a talented team and overseeing the end-to-end process of creating and delivering tentpole shows on our audio OTT platform. You will play a pivotal role in ideating, executing, and measuring the impact of these shows, with a primary focus on attracting new subscribers and fostering deep engagement with the audience. Responsibilities: Lead a crack team of content creators, writers, producers, communication experts and other production professionals to develop and execute tentpole shows for our audio OTT platform. Collaborate closely with the creative team to generate innovative ideas for shows that have the potential to become flagship offerings, attract a large audience, and drive subscription growth. Own the end-to-end production process, including show ideation, IP acquisition, concept development, scripting, casting, production planning, editing, and distribution. Set and maintain high standards for content quality, ensuring that all shows meet our brand's tone, style, and audience expectations. Develop and manage production budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring efficient execution and timely delivery of tentpole shows. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as Marketing and Growth, to develop effective strategies for promoting and maximizing the reach of tentpole shows. Implement data-driven approaches to measure and analyze the impact and performance of tentpole shows, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, audience preferences, and competitors' offerings to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the audio OTT landscape. Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, nurturing the professional growth of the production team while fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and passion for creating exceptional audio shows. Keep a pulse on user feedback and engagement metrics to iterate and enhance the shows, ensuring deep audience connection and satisfaction. Qualifications: 8- 15 years of experience in content production, preferably in the audio, non fiction video or entertainment industry. Proven track record of successfully developing and executing tentpole shows or flagship projects that garnered a significant audience and subscriber base. Strong leadership skills, with experience in leading and managing a high-performing production team. Deep understanding of audio storytelling, content development, audience analytics and audience engagement strategies. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget. Data-driven mindset with experience in leveraging metrics and analytics to measure the impact and success of content initiatives.
