• Identify different local vendors for procurement.
• Coordinate with trader for buying quantity and quality.
• Procure goods as per buying plan.
• Coordinate with logistic team for idle logistics solution.
• Ascertain timely procurement without hassle.
• Oversee logistics and shipments.
• Oversee stock keeping.
• Maintain and run vendor development program.
• Ifrequiredstayputatprocurementlocationforextensiveperiodifthesituationrequires.
• Maintaining and communicating various MIS for effective decision making.
• Preferable to have international travel and procurement experience.

• He would also be responsible to oversee timely delivery along with quality parameters and complete the cycle.

Skills & Experiences

• Should have extensive knowledge of Agro commodities procurement and shipment.
• Should have knowledge of international trade and shipment process.
• Willing to travel, domestically and internationally,as and when needed.
• He should have extensive product and procurement experience along with eye for details.
• He should be aware of the market dynamics along with the logistical dynamics, thereby taking the able decision to buy the best quality along with targeted price.
• Extensive travelling including international travel would part of the profile and he might be required to stay oversees for few months at a time.
