Job Opening for reputed client for the position of Field Officer-Sales & Marketingat Namakkal Location

Position : Field Officer - Sales & Marketing.

Location : Biogas Plant, Namakkal

Nature of Employment: 1 year Contract and further Extendable. (Direct Payroll).

Experience: 3-5 years with Agriculture & related product industry

Qualification: B.Sc/B.Tech-Agriculture/Diary Technology.

Job description :

Area Of Operation: Primarily in and around Namakkal, target customers are spread across TamilNadu, Karantaka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

Key Responsibilities :

Plan, execute and achieve the sales targets as per the business plan.

Collecting market intelligence with regards to demand in the market and existing prices for different competing products.

Distributor /Dealer engagement.

New market development.

Potential vendor identification & Convert them into our dealers / distributors.

Identifying the potential big consumers and converting them into direct customers.

Extend the area of operations in line with the business requirement.

Co-coordinating with production team for timely supply of fertilizers.

Organize Customer Contact Programs /Farmer Meetings and addressing complaints.

Engagement with farmers and farmer groups for conducting field trials and documenting the records for the same.

Negotiation with dealer/distributor/customer for pricing.

Organising Outreach programmes for promoting organic manure.

Follow up with statutory bodies for any licensing requirement.

Key Skills/ Competencies:

Very good understanding of Indian agriculture scenario & specifically Southern states of India.

Experience in Fertilizers, organic fertilizers background shall be preferred.

Fluent in Tamil and English.

Local candidate preferred.
