Technical Lead- Android Job in Leadsquared

Field-sales automation is the fastest-growing segment for LeadSquared, and that makes the mobile app the key focus area for the R&D team.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Lead and Own the development of Android App
• Release updates to Play Store
• Work with the Product team closely to help with feasibility study and designing of overall feature to leverage the technology
• Distribute and assign modules to team members
• Follow and implement Agile practices
• Find performance bottlenecks and work towards optimization of App
• Implement industry best practices and improve the overall quality of codebase
• Discover and implement new technologies to increase development efficiency
• Work with QA team to help test complex features
• Train junior team members

Required Skills:

• Experience with Android development using Java language
• Good leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Good knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and multi-threading concepts
• Good knowledge of the SQLite database and the Google Play Services like Push Notifications
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience of working with mobile app development
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience of Android development using Java
• Minimum 2 years of experience of leading the team
• Experience of Firebase and other Google services like Maps, Location etc
• Familiarity with continuous integration Jenkins or like tools
• Experience of Kotlin and cross-platform frameworks like flutter will be a plus point
