Shopify Developer Build Exceptional E-Commerce Experiences

What You ll Do:

• Lead and manage Shopify projects from mid to high complexity, with a focus on e-commerce platforms
• Develop custom-tailored Shopify themes and modify pre-existing templates to meet client needs
• Work closely with clients to understand requirements and propose the best solutions, offering clear project timelines and technical specifications
• Prototype solutions quickly, research new technologies, and collaborate with the team to implement the technical vision
• Build high-end, scalable eCommerce stores across various platforms and maintain a strong portfolio of past projects
• Mentor and support entry-level engineers, offering both technical guidance and soft skills development
• Collaborate with other developers to integrate applications based on departmental standards
• Serve as the liaison between engineers, product managers, and clients to gather requirements, write technical specifications, and document feature sets

What You Should Have:

• Extensive experience with Shopify, particularly on mid to high-level eCommerce projects
• Expertise in Shopify theme development, customization, and the Shopify Liquid templating language
• A strong portfolio showcasing your professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms
• Deep knowledge of working with various Shopify JS APIs (storefront, AJAX Cart, Sections, etc.)
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ECMA, ECMAScript 5/6), and jQuery
• Strong understanding of responsive web design techniques and cross-browser compatibility issues
• Familiarity with W3C web standards, semantics, and accessibility guidelines
• Excellent debugging, testing, and troubleshooting skills for cross-browser compatibility
• Ability to quickly grasp requirements, do research, and propose optimal platform solutions with realistic timelines
• Proven experience in building high-end e-commerce stores with strong attention to detail
